As a clinician, I enjoy working with adult clients of all ages and backgrounds. I strive to understand and connect with my clients and help them grow in meaningful ways. I have extensive training and experience providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address a wide range of psychological difficulties (e.g., anxiety, worry, depression, trauma). I also have experience using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, and I integrate these different therapeutic approaches to develop a treatment that is unique for each client.

As a researcher, I have investigated such conditions as depression, anxiety, worry, post-traumatic stress disorder, and substance-related problems. The ultimate goals of my research are to inform the understanding of psychological difficulties and to improve psychological interventions. My research informs my clinical practice in that I use evidence-based (i.e., scientifically supported) treatment and stay up-to-date with current developments in the field.
